Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Pawstrology collects, why, and who it is shared with. We keep it plain-spoken on purpose.

What we collect

• Quiz answers — your dog's name, breed, age, and your answers about their behavior. Used to generate the free preview and the paid reading.
• Your dog's photo — compressed in your browser before upload. We store a small thumbnail on our server to personalize your reading, show it in delivery emails, and include it in the PDF. The original full-resolution file is not persisted.
• Email address — used to deliver your reading, send order updates, and (until you purchase or unsubscribe) occasional follow-up emails about your preview.
• Order and payment metadata — what you bought, when, and for how much. Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider and never touch our servers.
• Usage analytics — anonymous funnel events (page views, quiz progress) and advertising events via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. Where we send events to Meta, personal identifiers such as your email are hashed first.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the processors needed to run the product:

• OpenAI — your quiz answers are used to generate the written reading and portrait. Your email is not sent to OpenAI.
• Whop — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Brevo — email list management for order updates and follow-ups.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising measurement, with hashed identifiers.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions and for advertising attribution (for example the Meta Pixel's _fbp cookie). You can block cookies in your browser; the funnel still works without them.

Retention and deletion

Order records (including quiz answers and the photo thumbnail) are kept so you can re-access your reading. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@mypawstrology.com — we will remove your order records, stored photo thumbnail, and email from our lists.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise any of these, email support@mypawstrology.com. Every marketing email we send also contains an unsubscribe link.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
